Dear friends:

Could you please tell me why the Venezuelan Government does not declare a state of emergency and take the measures needed to legally protect itself from being overthrown? My government would not hesitate for a second to act radically. It would close all TV channels or newspapers that are openly not only advocating but also directing a subversive plan against our President.

Por favor dígame porque el Gobierno de Venezuela no declara el estado de emergencia y toma las medidas necesarias para protegerse legalmente de ser tumbado? Mi gobierno (él de Bush) no dudaría un segundo para actuar radicalmente. Cerraría todos los canales de TV o los periódicos que estuvieran abiertamente no solamente abogando sino también dirigiendo un plan subversivo en contra de nuestro Presidente.
